In addition to the charm of its neighborhoods,
Glade Spring boasts an historic town square that includes a restaurant,
a hardware store, antique shops, a grocery store, a salon and other
businesses. A highly active Glade Spring Senior Citizens Center
also is located in the square. On the first Saturday of each month
from April to October, the downtown area hosts Square Deal Day,
welcoming shoppers to take advantage of discounts and a farmer’s
