Just down the road from Glade Spring, in the community
of Emory, is Emory & Henry College, which provides a host
of cultural, entertainment and athletic events throughout the

higher education in Southwest Virginia, the college has received
from U.S. News & World Report the highest rankings for excellence
among liberal arts colleges, including public and private, in
Southwest Virginia and East Tennessee.
Emory & Henry is a premier center for the arts in the Virginia
Highlands. The college boasts several gallery spaces that have
